City West Homes management is to be taken in house by Westminster City Council.
Listening to residents’ complaints and the below par service delivery from CWH, Nickie Aiken, the leader of the Council, instigated a review of CWH prior to the elections. After extensive work and reviews, with councillor Richard Elcho providing the final confirmation we were on the right track – Westminster City Council made the decision to bring the management in-house to ensure we are always delivering to the expected standard for residents.
Today we received reports of an acid attack on Westbourne Grove. This incident was attended promptly by our local police and firemen. They continue to investigate this incident and we offer all our support to them as well as condemning completely horrific and cowardly acid attacks.
Update: Summary information and short video from the evening standard here.
Councillor Richard Elcho successfully represented residents on Hereford Road in the long running alarm box dispute with Westminster City Council. He successfully advocated on behalf of residents at the planning sub-committee to protect their right to have Alarm Boxes.
