Our first recycling and waste collection one stop shop being held tomorrow (8th January) from 9.00 am on the corner of St Stephens Gardens and Westbourne Park Road. Meet your councillors, Council officers and the Street Action Waste Team to raise issues and ask questions
We value our EU residents and the diversity of Bayswater. As Brexit approaches, Westminster City Council is hosting a joint event with the Home Office to support local residents and inform them of their rights. Th next forum will be held at 18.00-20.00, 21st Jan at Porchester Hall. Register to attend here.

Westminster City Council is holding a number of face to face meetings with leaseholders and tenants in 2019 to hear your views. Residents can ether complete a survey (details to follow) or attend one of the below events:

Tuesday 25th December
There will be no household waste or recycling collections on Xmas day.
Wed 26th December
Household waste and recycling collections will take place as normal.
Saturday 29th December
An additional household recycling collection service is being provided on this day for streets not having a recycling collection on Xmas Day. All streets that ‘missed’ a waste collection on Xmas Day are scheduled to have a collection on Friday 28th Dec.
Tuesday 1st January
Recycling collections will take place as normal on Tuesday 1st Jan. Some streets will not receive their regular Tuesday waste collection on New Year’s Day but this will be collected on Wednesday 2nd Jan. Street specific information is available via: https://www.westminster.gov.uk/xmas-recycling
Xmas Tree Recycling
Twenty six nominated Xmas tree drop off points will be available city-wide between Saturday 29th December and Sunday 13th January 2019. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm unless they are in parks, which close at 4.30pm. Drop off points can be checked at: https://www.westminster.gov.uk/xmas-recycling

Today is international eliminate violence against women day, if you or someone you know is a victim you can find help here. In case of emergency always ring the police on 999. Violence and sexual assault is Bayswater’s primary or secondary biggest issue according to quarterly Met Police statistics. However, the vast majority of these are happening behind closed doors in the home.
